To connect a domain to your AshHost hosting, change its nameservers at the company you registered the domain with to:
ns1.ashhost.co.nz ns2.ashhost.co.nz ns3.ashhost.co.nz
Where to change them: log in to your domain registrar (for example 1st Domains, Crazy Domains or GoDaddy), find Nameservers or DNS settings for your domain, and replace the existing entries with the three above.
How long it takes: changes usually take effect within a few hours, but can take up to 24–48 hours worldwide. Your website and email start working on AshHost once the change has spread.
Want to keep your current DNS provider? Point an A record for your domain (and www) to your hosting IP address instead – you'll find it in cPanel under General Information → Shared IP Address.
Registered your domain with us? We'll set the nameservers for you – just open a ticket if anything isn't working.
